Hi, I’m Claire, founder of Pleanálaí Weddings & Events. I specialise in creating beautiful, personal weddings in Ireland and Italy, helping couples bring their vision to life while making the planning process as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.
With over 12 years of experience in the wedding industry, I understand that no two couples are the same. Whether you’re dreaming of a romantic Italian villa wedding, a celebration surrounded by the Irish countryside, or an intimate gathering with your favourite people, my approach is always personal. I take the time to understand what matters most to you, offering tailored support, expert guidance and thoughtful attention to detail at every stage.
Planning a destination wedding in Italy comes with its own unique considerations, from finding the perfect venue and coordinating trusted local suppliers to managing the logistics of bringing everyone together abroad. Having planned weddings in Italy myself, I understand how important it is to have someone you trust by your side, making sure everything comes together seamlessly, wherever in the world you choose to celebrate.

Before founding Pleanálaí, I worked as Wedding & Event Manager at The Lodge at Ashford Castle in County Mayo, where I gained invaluable experience in delivering exceptional weddings and events. Along the way, and ever since, I’ve had the pleasure of creating beautiful wedding celebrations in both Italy and Ireland for so many wonderful couples. From romantic Italian villa weddings to relaxed, memorable celebrations closer to home, each wedding is unique, and I feel incredibly lucky to do what I love, helping couples create unforgettable memories with their favourite people.
